Heart Disease:

Of the 950,00 people who die annually from Heart Disease, 69% are African American.

Black men are 46% more likely to die than White men, and Black women are 69% more likely.

63% of Black men are sedentary, the numbers for Black women jump to 68%.

Black women are 40% more likely to be obese compared to Black men.

Stroke:

Stroke affects 2% of Americans overall, however on average, 88% of African Americans, die from a stroke because they don't seek proper medical attention.

Diabetes: (Type II Adult onset)

Type II dibetes affects more than 2.6 million African-Americans

1 in 4 Black women over the age of 55 have Diabetes

  • Obesity
